The Ministry of Industry and Trade approved a list of 96 types of goods for parallel imports to Russia, chemical products, musical instruments, cosmetic components and car parts.

The list also includes trees and other plants, lime and cement, pharmaceutical products, plastics and plastic products, rubber and rubber, leather products, paper and cardboard, silk and textile materials, clothing, shoes, ceramics, glass, ferrous metals and other. There are 96 items on the list in total.
At the end of March, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a document allowing parallel imports to Russia for certain types of products. “The purpose of the mechanism is to satisfy the demand for goods containing the results of intellectual activity,” the head of government explained. Mishustin added that parallel imports would guarantee the supply of products even in spite of “unfriendly actions of foreign politicians.”
The business began to import goods of Western brands into Russia, which announced the restriction of official supplies. For example, a new 2022 iPhone SE appeared on sale, which Apple did not introduce in Russia. The first unofficial sales of the iPhone SE started in the second half of April.
