Russia demands to explain the use of a UN car with a diplomatic number by nationalists

Russia is waiting for clarifications in connection with information about the use of a UN vehicle with the number DP 210015 by Ukrainian nationalists during the hostilities, Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzia said at a meeting of the UN Security Council.

“We cannot but express our concern over the ongoing seizures of vehicles with UN symbols by the armed forces of Ukraine. It is good that the secretariat (UN) has finally recognized the relevant offense in Kharkiv and Mariupol. We are awaiting a response to our latest request for a UN vehicle with a diplomatic number DP 210015, also in Kharkiv, who, according to eyewitnesses, participated in the military operations of Ukrainian nationalists,” Nebenzya said.  “Our colleagues in Vienna are fully aware of this information. It is important that both international organizations give a fair assessment of such facts,” Nebenzia stressed.
