Kuwait schools to resume after vaccinating 65% of population

Kuwaiti authorities have issued another order regarding schools. All students will return to the person-in-person educational process after 65 per cent of the population have been vaccinated against COVID-19, Middle East Monitor has learned.

The Kuwaiti population should be vaccinated to avoid the spreading of the COVID-19. After 65 per cent of Kuwaitis are inoculated, the students will back to the schools across the country.

All required measures will be taken to protect students on their return to schools, noting that a precise plan had already been laid down for this, in cooperation with related Kuwaiti ministries.

According to Ali Al-Mudhaf, Minister of Education Higher Education, the paper and online exams for the first term of the academic year 2020-2021 cancelled as part of COVID-19 measures.
