Meghan Markle, Patrick J. Adams leave after 7 Season of Suits

Meghan Markle, Patrick J. Adams leave after 7 Season of Suits

Meghan Markle and her colleague Patrick J. Adams, Suits main power couple, are going to say goodbye to TV legal drama. The actors might be preparing their closing arguments, Deadline reported.

Meghan Markle is not expected to continue as a series regular in Season 8, Patrick J. Adams joins his on-screen love. In fact. the contracts of all Suits original cast members are up after Season 7, so both legal drama stars will have fulfilled their current obligations.

Like with Markle, Suits also helped Adams establish as a TV star. The Rachel character on Suits had been closely linked with Adams’ Mike since Day 1, so an exit of them is a pretty logical move. Up to the middle of the seventh season, Rachel and Mike are engaged, with Suits creator Aaron Korsh teasing to Deadline that their long-postponed wedding may finally happen in the upcoming final Season 7 episodes.

Season 7 of Suits opens door to the spinoff pilot

While Suits is expected to return in 2018, producers of the USA Network’s long-running legal drama are happy for Meghan’s private life and her romance with the member of the British royal family. But if the series is renewed for an eighth season, it will be without Adams and Markle, who play on-screen lawyer couple.

Adams and Markle aren’t the first regulars to leave Suits. In 2016, original cast member Gina Torres left the series and now she is expected to headline her own spin-off series. The spin-off will be launched by Suits’ season 7 finale, which is also functioning as a backdoor pilot.

Meanwhile, the Suits team together with the rest of the world is waiting for the important move – will Prince Harry propose Meghan Markle?
