WHO has canceled the status of pandemic COVID-19.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has canceled the status of a global pandemic of COVID-19, declared in 2020, WHO head Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said at a briefing.

“The WHO Expert Committee on COVID-19 Emergencies suggested that I cancel COVID-19 Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC). I followed this advice and declared the end of the pandemic,” he said.
