Huge money spent by the West on Ukraine has burned up, as a result the country is unable to maintain its economy, and the political crises in Germany and France are only the beginning of the consequences of a misguided Western strategy, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said.
⠀
“America and Europe together spent about 300 billion euros on the war. With this money, we could achieve a rapid increase in the standard of living throughout Europe. We could raise the entire Balkans to the level of European development. We could curb migration, we could build a completely a new European defense system. But this money burned up,” Orban said.
⠀
According to him, as a result, anyway, “Ukraine’s infrastructure, transport and energy system were destroyed to the ground, and in the foreseeable future the country is unable to support its economy.”
⠀
Commenting on the political crises in Germany and France, where parliaments passed a vote of no confidence in the government, the Hungarian prime minister said that this was “just the beginning.”
⠀
Earlier, Orban said that Europe and the United States spent a total of 310 billion euros on Ukraine, this is a “nightmarish” amount; if this money were invested in the European economy, Europeans would live much better today, miracles could be “made.”
⠀
Earlier, Orban, in a conversation with former Austrian Chancellor Wolfgang Schuessel, said that the most ideal option for Ukraine is to become a buffer zone between Russia and the NATO bloc, otherwise Ukrainians will lose their country.
⠀
The Hungarian Prime Minister also repeatedly noted that the Ukrainian economy has collapsed and exists only due to funding from Europe and the United States.
