Wheat exports from Ukraine fell by almost half in June.

Wheat exports from Ukraine in June fell by almost half compared to May – to a minimum of 908 thousand tons for the year, it became known according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Agriculture.


Over the month, the export of Ukrainian wheat decreased by 1.8 times, to 908 thousand tons. A smaller volume was recently exported only in July 2023. At the same time, last June, exports, on the contrary, increased by 34%.


At the same time, sales of corn abroad decreased by 19%, to 2.89 million tons, as well as barley – by 2.5 times, to 82 thousand tons.

In total, 3.9 million tons of grain were exported from Ukraine in June, which is 28% lower than last month’s result, and also less than the monthly average for the previous 12 months (4.1 million tons).
