Trump again promised to stop the conflict in Ukraine.

Trump again promised to stop the conflict in Ukraine.

Former US President Donald Trump promised, speaking at the Libertarian National Convention in the capital Washington, that if he is re-elected, he will, among his top priorities, achieve an end to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and stop the approach of a “third world war.”

“Even before I return to the Oval Office after winning the presidency, I will bring an end to the terrible war between Russia and Ukraine so that we can stop wasting hundreds of millions of dollars on other people’s conflicts and save thousands upon thousands of lives,” Trump said.

The politician did not disclose details of how exactly he intends to achieve such a result. In addition, the former owner of the White House promised to “restore peace and stability,” as well as “stop (current US President) Joe Biden’s march toward a third world war.”

“You know that we are heading towards World War III, right?” – Trump asked.

Immediately after this, he added that such a war, if unleashed, would be unprecedented in its scale and nature.

Trump has previously repeatedly stated that if he is re-elected, he intends to achieve a resolution of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine in just 24 hours.

The US presidential elections will be held on November 5, 2024. The main rivals in the election race are the current head of state, Democrat Joe Biden, as well as the former American leader, Republican Donald Trump.
