The United States welcomes the review of foreign agents in Georgia and urges the ruling party in the country not to return it to the agenda, State Department spokesman Ned Price said.

“We welcome the decision to reconsider … We call on the ruling party to formally adhere to his aspirations and not to promote this kind of law, precisely because it does not support relations with Georgian and Euro-Atlantic values,” he said at a media briefing.
