According to a representative of Siemens Energy, the turbine is sealed and ready for operation. If all issues are agreed upon, the unit is planned to be transported by road.
Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz called on the Russian side to take back the Nord Stream turbine repaired in Canada and continue gas imports. “Take it. It is here,” the politician said.

Pumping through the Nord Stream has been reduced by Gazprom since June, its volumes have been brought up to 20 percent of capacity. The Russian company explains the decline in exports by problems with the return of equipment for the gas pipeline from Canada. After it was sent to Europe, Gazprom stated that it had not received the necessary documentation and cited sanctions obstacles. In the European Union, in turn, such restrictions were not seen.
