The Pentagon chief called for Hamas to be condemned and isolated.

Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin, speaking about the escalation of the conflict between Palestine and Israel, said that now is not the time for a neutral position, and also called for condemning and isolating the Hamas movement.

“This is not the time to be neutral… or to make excuses for what there is no justification for… all who want lasting peace and security in this region must condemn and isolate Hamas,” Austin said at a news conference in Israel.

He said that Hamas does not represent the position of the entire Palestinian people.
