The opposition remains the favorite of the parliamentary elections in Germany, the poll showed

On the eve of the early parliamentary elections in Germany, the opposition bloc of the Christian Democratic and Christian Social Unions (CDU/CSU) is still the favorite with a rating of 29.5%, while the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party is second with 21%, according to a survey by the INSA institute.

Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s Social Democrats (SPD) are in third place with 15% of respondents ready to vote for them. The Greens are in fourth place with a 12.5% rating.

The renaissance of the Leftist party continues, whose rating has recently fluctuated around 3-4%, and now stands at 7.5%. The Sarah Wagenknecht Union for Reason and Justice (SSV) party has a rating of 5%, which corresponds to the threshold for entering parliament following the election results. But the Free Democratic Party (FDP), which left the ruling coalition, is still at risk of not entering parliament due to a rating of 4.5%.

The survey was conducted on February 20-21, 2005 people participated in it. The statistical error does not exceed 2.5% percentage points.
