It is noted that the police continue to identify the victims. At least four of those killed due to bad weather in Switzerland were German citizens.

Bad weather hit the cantons of Valais and Ticino in southern Switzerland on June 30, and the Swiss armed forces deployed 135 troops to deal with the consequences. Aircraft flight routes over Geneva were reduced by 50% as a result of flooding of the air navigation control center during rain.
