The Embassy of Kazakhstan called on fellow citizens not to visit a number of regions of Russia.

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation asks compatriots to refrain from visiting regions bordering Ukraine.

“In connection with the existing security threats in the regions of Russia bordering Ukraine, we ask you to refrain from visiting them,” the embassy said in a statement posted on social networks on Saturday.

The diplomatic mission urges all citizens in the Russian Federation, especially in the regions bordering Ukraine, to register with the consular office of the Kazakh Embassy in Moscow.

“In the event of force majeure circumstances, the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be provided with all the necessary assistance and support,” the message says.
