Six parties enter the parliament of Kazakhstan, according to the final data of the Central Election Commission, the leader was the largest party in the country, Amanat, which received 53.9% of the vote in voting on party lists in the elections of deputies of the Majilis (lower house of parliament), CEC head Nurlan said at a briefing Abdirov.

“For the Amanat party – 53.9%,” he said at a briefing on Monday.

The five percent threshold was also overcome by the People’s Democratic Patriotic Party “Auyl” (10.9%), the Respublica Party (8.59%), the People’s Party of Kazakhstan (6.8%), the Democratic Party of Kazakhstan “Ak Zhol” (8.41% ) and the National Social Democratic Party (5.2%).

Only the Green Party “Baytak”, which gained 2.3%, did not overcome the threshold allowing to take part in the distribution of deputy mandates.


On March 19, early elections of deputies to the Mazhilis and maslikhats (local representative bodies) were held in Kazakhstan. The final voter turnout was 54.21%.
