The British Foreign Office called the danger of an escalation of the conflict in Ukraine “illusory.”

British Foreign Secretary David Cameron called the danger of escalation of the Ukrainian conflict “illusory”.

“We have proven that the dangers of escalation are illusory. Britain was the first (country) to provide everything from anti-tank weapons to artillery and tanks, and now long-range firepower such as Storm Shadow missiles,” he wrote.

Cameron accused the Russian authorities of allegedly “rattling sabers” and called such actions “empty rhetoric.”

The minister called on the allies to continue to confront Moscow. In his opinion, Western countries must demonstrate the strength shown since 2022, when they began to support Ukraine.
