President Barack Obama addressed to the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation on Saturday. In his speech, he said that he will take it as a “personal insult” if the African-American community ignores the presidential election, so, President encouraged black voters to support Hillary Clinton.
President Barack Obama showed his support to the Democratic candidate, on Saturday he urged black community to support Hillary as well. In another case, Obama promised to take their ignorance to the presidential election as a “personal insult”.
According to Obama, Mrs. Clinton was a right person to take a position of a State Secretary. So, now she has a big chance to become the first female president of the United States.
“I will consider it a personal insult, an insult to my legacy if this community lets down its guard and fails to activate itself in this election,” Obama said with a stern look and booming passion. The acting President encouraged the African-American community:
“You want to give me a good send-off, go vote.”
At the dinner, Clinton expressed her gratitude to the Mr. President. She said loud and clear of Obama:
“Mr. President, not only do we know you are an American, you are a great American.”
Amid reports that African-Americans are less enthusiastic about voting for Hillary Clinton than they were for him, President Barack Obama told a gathering of community leaders that his legacy will be at stake in the November election.
