Musk expressed his readiness to host the Biden-Trump election debate.

American entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk has announced his readiness to host the election debate between US presidential candidates, which is expected to be held between incumbent President Joe Biden and former head of state Donald Trump, with the participation of independent candidate Robert Kennedy Jr.

Earlier it was reported that Elon Musk believes that independent US presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. should take part in the pre-election debates expected to be held between current President Joe Biden and former head of state Donald Trump.

“Of course,” Musk wrote on his social network account, responding to Kennedy’s question about whether he would host this debate.

Earlier, Trump said that he plans to seek a doping test before the debate with Biden because he fears that the current US president could be pumped with stimulant drugs.

The rivals agreed to hold two rounds of television debates – in June and September. The former president, at 77, regularly ridicules the mental and physical abilities of the 81-year-old Biden.

The debate is expected to be staged on Biden’s terms, who have demanded a television studio where microphones are automatically turned off after a speaker’s time has elapsed in the absence of spectators or independent candidates. Trump himself is calling for two additional sparring matches with Biden and a debate between vice presidential candidates.

The US presidential elections will be held on November 5, 2024. The main rivals in the election race are the current head of state, Democrat Biden, as well as the former American leader, Republican Trump. Both candidates have already received enough delegate votes from the preliminary votes to secure the nomination from their parties, and almost all of their rivals have announced their withdrawal from the race.
