American entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk said on his page on the social network X that he “can’t wait,” reacting to media information that US presidential candidate Donald Trump, if he wins, is considering the possibility of creating a commission to audit government programs, which could include businessman.

The Washington Post, citing knowledgeable sources, reported on Monday that Trump, if he wins, is considering creating a special commission, potentially including Musk, to conduct an audit of government programs.

“I can’t wait. There is a lot of waste and unnecessary regulation in the government that needs to be gotten rid of,” Musk wrote in response to the publication of the relevant news.

In August, Musk said he was ready to take a position in the US government. Earlier, Western media reported that Trump, if he wins the election, will offer Elon Musk a place in his administration or a consulting position.
