More than 25 million people listened to Trump’s entire interview with Musk.

More than 25 million users of the social network X listened to the interview of US presidential candidate from the Republican Party, former President Donald Trump, with entrepreneur Elon Musk, which took place the day before, Trump’s campaign headquarters reported, citing statistics from the social network.

“Twenty-five million X users, as of noon today, have listened to the entire interview from beginning to end,” the Trump campaign press service said.

In her opinion, Trump’s success is “unprecedented”; viewings of interviews with a presidential candidate have no historical analogues.

Trump on Monday gave an interview to his supporter, donor, entrepreneur and owner of the social network X, Elon Musk. The interview, which took place at the Spaces site in X, began with an hour delay due to technical problems and lasted more than two hours.

Much of the conversation contained familiar Trump rhetoric. According to CNN, during the interview Trump made more than 20 statements containing untruths – “many of them had been exposed earlier,” the TV channel indicated.

According to the headquarters, about 1.5 million people listened to Trump’s conversation with Musk, and the amount of donations collected during the stream exceeded $1 million. Trump’s campaign stressed that he is taking every opportunity to “deliver his message directly to voters,” while his rival, incumbent Vice President Kamala Harris, has been “hiding from the press” for more than 20 days.

“The media may lie, but the numbers don’t,”  a Trump campaign spokesman said and added that the “total views” reached 2.9 billion.

According to Musk, “the total number of views of the interview and its discussions on other accounts exceeded 1 billion.”

The US presidential elections will take place on November 5th. Donald Trump has been officially nominated by the Republican Party for the post of head of state. Incumbent Vice President Kamala Harris, who has yet to receive a formal nomination from the party at the upcoming convention in Chicago, plans to run as a Democratic candidate.
