Lebanon has declared its readiness to repel Israeli aggression.

The Lebanese Armed Forces are on the southern border with Israel and are ready to repel Israeli aggression within their capabilities, the Lebanese Army said in a statement.

“Our forces are located throughout the entire territory of our homeland, including the southern borders. We are ready to defend our land within our capabilities,” the statement says.

The army command also expressed hope for positive results from diplomatic negotiations on a ceasefire.
