Israel has said it has killed more than 60 Hezbollah members since the fighting began.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have killed more than 60 members of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement since the start of hostilities in the Gaza Strip, Israeli army spokesman Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus said during an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) briefing.

Commenting on the military situation in northern Israel, the spokesman said that the army is carefully analyzing the activities of the movement.

“More than 60 of their (Hezbollah) fighters were killed in attempts to attack Israel. Some of them were killed during attacks on the army, some before the attacks,” the spokesman said, citing the movement’s casualty figures.
