Israel is serious about reaching a deal on hostages in the Gaza Strip and there may now be an opportunity to do so, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar said on Thursday.

“We probably now have the opportunity to conclude a deal with the hostages. Israel is serious about concluding an agreement on the hostages, and I hope that we can do this as soon as possible,” Saar said on the sidelines of the OSCE Foreign Ministers’ Conference in Malta.
