Israel confirmed the extension of the truce with Hamas by one day.

Israel confirmed the extension of the truce with the Palestinian Hamas movement for a day after they received a new list of hostages for release, which included 10 women and children, the Times of Israel newspaper says, citing the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“The prime minister’s office said that the truce in Gaza will continue today after it recently received a list of hostages to be released from the Gaza Strip. It includes 10 women and children,” the newspaper says.

As noted, the list received by Israel complies with the agreed ceasefire rules.

Previously, the Palestinian movement Hamas, which rules in the Gaza Strip, announced the extension of the humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip on Thursday.

Qatar’s Foreign Ministry later confirmed a one-day extension of the humanitarian truce in the enclave.
