In Turkey, 119 suspects of involvement in ISIS were detained.

Turkish police have detained 119 suspected members of the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said on Friday.

“In 23 provinces, 119 suspects were detained as a result of the operation against IS,” the minister wrote on the social network X.

The operation was carried out in Istanbul, the capital of the country Ankara, Antalya and other provinces.

Yerlikaya previously reported the detention of more than 3.5 thousand suspects as part of the fight against IS. Similar operations are carried out in Turkey on a regular basis.
