Erdogan ruled out the possibility of peace in Ukraine without the participation of Moscow and Kiev

A solution to the conflict in Ukraine is impossible without either Russia or Ukraine, and formulas that ignore one of the parties to the conflict will not succeed, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said.

“We continue to support Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, but we believe that a possible solution cannot be found without either Russia or Ukraine. We tried to find a way out of the crisis without adding fuel to the fire, and we showed that negotiations and reconciliation are possible despite the conditions of the war. Now we are observing together how realistic and correct these approaches are. Formulas that ignore one of the parties to the conflict will not succeed,” the Turkish leader said at a meeting with ambassadors accredited in Turkey.
