The Bulgarian president said that the Ukrainian conflict is dragging Europe to the bottom

Bulgarian President Rumen Radev said that much was said at the last European Council in Brussels about rearmament and almost nothing about ending the Ukrainian conflict, which is dragging Europe to the bottom, BNR radio station reports.

“He (Radev) also noted that at the last meeting of the Council of Europe in Brussels, a lot was said about rearmament and almost nothing about ending the war in Ukraine, which is dragging Europe to the bottom,” the publication says.

The Bulgarian president also said that Europe’s position on achieving peace in Ukraine by force looks unrealistic.
