All flights in Iran were canceled until Thursday morning.

All flights in Iran were canceled until Thursday morning.

All flights throughout Iran have been canceled until Thursday morning due to the situation in the Middle East region,  the official representative of the country’s Civil Aviation Organization, Jafar Yazerloo said.

“In order to maintain flight safety and (taking into account) the situation in the region, all flights throughout the country are canceled until 5 a.m. tomorrow,” the statement said.

Earlier, the press service of the Israel DefenseForces (IDF) reported that Iran fired about 180 missiles at Israel, many of which were intercepted. At the same time, videos on social networks showed falls in different areas of Israel. As a result of the attack on Israeli territory, one person was killed, who was an illegal immigrant from the Gaza Strip. The ambulance service reported several cases of minor shrapnel wounds and injuries en route to shelters. IDF Chief of General Staff Herzi Halevi said the decision to launch retaliatory strikes now rests with Israel. Iran warned Israel against further aggression, warning that if Israeli provocations were repeated, Iran’s response would be even more powerful.
