Queen Elizabeth II’s new ‘modern’ portrait features Prince Charles

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles are featured together in a new portrait by photographer Nick Knight. The portrait made in new modern style and has been released last week.

The Buckingham Palace hired new photograph who made new portraits of the Queen and Charles. The image was released by the British Monarchy on Saturday despite it was taken for her 90th birthday in April 2016. The modern style of the portrait brought a fresh splash in the history of the royal family’s images and paintings.

The author of the photography was really glad and honoured with this artwork and an opportunity to take a photo of the royals. Nick Knight said that he wanted to create a modern portrait that showed warmth and humanity as well as strength and tradition of the one of the oldest royal family in Europe.

“It was a great pleasure and an honour to photograph Her Majesty The Queen and HRH The Prince of Wales at Windsor Castle,” 

Mr Knight added.
