China has added 15 American companies to the export control list

China has added 15 U.S. companies to the list of export controls for dual-use goods in order to protect national security, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce said in a statement on Tuesday.

“In accordance with the provisions of the PRC’s Law on Export Control and the provisions on Export Control of Dual-use Goods, in order to protect national security and interests, as well as fulfill international obligations such as non-proliferation, it was decided to add 15 US organizations, including Leidos, to the export control list,” – the statement says.

It is noted that the control measures provide for a ban on the export of dual-use goods to these companies, and any relevant export activities currently carried out should be stopped immediately.

However, it is emphasized that if the export is really necessary due to special circumstances, the exporter should contact the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China.

The measures will take effect from the moment of publication.

The export control list includes Leidos, Gibbs&Cox, IP Video Market Info, Sourcemap, Skydio, Rapid Flight LLC, Red Six Solutions, Shield AI, HavocAI, Neros Technologies, Group W, Aerkomm, General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, General Dynamics Land Systems, Aero Vironment.
