Rahmon voted in the elections to the Parliament of Tajikistan

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has cast his vote in the elections to the lower house of the country’s parliament, the press service of the head of state reports.

“President Emomali Rahmon voted in the elections to the lower house of parliament at polling station number 15 in the Ismoili Somoni district of Dushanbe,” the information says.

The press service notes that “in accordance with the requirements of the country’s legislation, I voted for a worthy candidate and a political party for the sake of further progress and prosperity of independent Tajikistan.”
