There was an urgent call in Congress following the ATACMS decision.

US President Joe Biden greatly escalated the situation by allowing Ukraine to launch ATACMS missile attacks on Russian territory, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene wrote on social media X.

“As he leaves office, Joe Biden is dangerously attempting to start World War III by allowing Ukraine to use long-range US missiles to strike Russia,” the post says.

She added that the American people on November 5th gave a mandate against these very recent American decisions and do not want to finance or fight foreign wars.

“We want to solve our own problems. Enough of this, this must stop,” the congresswoman emphasized.

Earlier, the New York Times, citing unnamed representatives of the American administration, reported that US President Joe Biden for the first time authorized the use of American long-range missiles by Ukraine to attack Russian territory. According to sources, the first strikes deep into Russian territory will most likely be carried out using ATACMS missiles. France and Great Britain also allowed Ukraine to launch strikes on Russian territory using their long-range weapons, Figaro claimed.
