Orban declared a conspiracy in the EU against the Hungarian government.

A conspiracy is being hatched in Brussels to overthrow the legitimate government of Hungary, Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on social media.

“There is an open conspiracy against Hungary under the leadership of (European People’s Party head) Manfred Weber and (European Commission) President Ursula von der Leyen. They have admitted that their goal is to replace the Hungarian government with a new ‘jawol government’, like the current Polish one,” he wrote.

The politician stressed that the country’s leadership will not allow this to happen.

In early October, Orban stated that the leadership of the European Commission and the European People’s Party would like to overthrow the Hungarian government and appoint their own mercenaries who would fulfill all the demands of Brussels. He indicated that this would mean the end of Hungarian sovereign policy. According to him, Budapest is not afraid of blackmail from the EC and will fight to avoid becoming a puppet of the European Union.

The prime minister also pointed out that the modern EU, with its pressure on Hungary, has become a bad parody of the USSR, but Budapest “does not dance to its tune if it does not want to.” According to him, “there is no need for a Brussels” that treats member countries as provinces, telling them how to live. As the politician noted, the EU leadership must respect the sovereignty of European nations.

Orban emphasized that Brussels is “not Hungary’s boss” and the country will continue to defend its own point of view when discussing pan-European decisions. According to him, Budapest will not supply weapons or allocate money to Ukraine, allow migrants into the country and introduce propaganda of sexual minorities in Hungarian schools, despite EU demands.
