Yemen announced Israeli air strikes on the city of Hodeidah.

Israeli fighter jets carried out a series of strikes on the city of Hodeidah in western Yemen, some of them hitting the port, a spokesman for the Hodeidah provincial administration said on Sunday.

“Israeli fighters carried out a series of attacks on the city of Hodeidah, some of them targeting the port,” the source said.

This is the second Israeli strike in two months on Yemen’s Hodeidah, the port of which is controlled by the Ansar Allah movement (Houthis). In July, Israeli aircraft bombed an oil storage facility and cranes at the port after a Houthi-launched drone flew into Tel Aviv, killing one person.
