Canada has imposed sanctions for violating the rights of Palestinians.

Canada has imposed sanctions on four individuals and two companies for violating the rights of Palestinians and their property in the West Bank, the country’s government said on Thursday.

The restrictive measures, which also include a ban on entry into Canada, affected the Mount Hebron Fund and Shlom Asiraich companies and four individuals. The United States added these organizations to the sanctions list in April of this year, accusing them of raising funds for extremist activities.

As explained by the Canadian Foreign Ministry, the next round of sanctions is being introduced for involvement in acts of violence and cruelty, including attacks on humanitarian convoys, theft of property and the resettlement of Palestinians.
