“We must strengthen the coordination of development strategies,” he emphasized, speaking at the Second High-Level Conference of the Global Action Forum on Co-Development. “China will continue to attract business and academic communities, <…> strengthen trilateral and multifaceted cooperation, give as much broader impetus for sustainable development.”

The Chinese diplomat recalled that the international community consists of countries that develop in accordance with their specificities.

“It is necessary not only to share development experience and contribute to international development efforts, but also to be guided by our own national realities,” he said.

In relation to the need to harmonize development strategies, he referred to regional programs such as the African Union Agenda 2063 and ASEAN Vision 2025.
