The US House of Representatives has approved a proposed budget for federal agencies.

The US House of Representatives supported a bill to allocate about $1.2 trillion to continue the work of a number of US federal departments until the end of the 2024 fiscal year on the last day before the shutdown, follows from the broadcast of the vote.

286 legislators were in favor, 134 were against. Now the document must be considered by the Senate.
The bill includes $300 million in funding for the Ukraine Security Initiative, as well as $3.3 billion for Israel.

US President Joe Biden previously signed a new temporary budget to replace the previous short-term one; on March 22, lawmakers must agree on the second part of allocations for activities in the field of defense, finance, homeland security and foreign operations, otherwise the responsible departments face a suspension of work.
