The European Union has agreed to annually discuss assistance to Ukraine.

EU leaders agreed to discuss aid to Ukraine annually and, if necessary, reconsider it after two years.

Earlier, the European Council said that EU leaders at the summit in Brussels agreed to allocate 50 billion euros of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine.

“Based on the annual report of the European Commission on measures under the fund for Ukraine, the European Council will hold discussions every year… to provide recommendations. If necessary, after two years, the European Council will invite the Commission to propose a revision,” the document agreed by the leaders of EU countries during the summit said.
