Australia will provide almost $13 million in additional military assistance to Ukraine, according to a statement on the Australian government website.

The new aid package, according to him, will amount to 20 million Australian dollars (12.76 million US dollars).

The aid package will include mine clearance and anti-drone equipment, portable X-ray devices and a 3D metal printer, it said.

Australian companies participated in the production of equipment supplied to Ukraine this time: DroneShield, Micro-X, Minelab and SPEE3D.

The Australian government said in a statement that with the current package of military assistance to Ukraine, its total volume has reached approximately 910 million Australian dollars (about 580 million US dollars). In particular, Australia supplied Ukraine with Bushmaster armored cars, heavy artillery, ammunition and funds for the Ukrainian humanitarian fund.

As previously reported, Australia has sent an E-7A Wedgetail airborne early warning and control aircraft to Germany for a six-month period. There are up to 100 Australian soldiers on board, but the plane, as the Australian government notes, will not fly over the territories of Ukraine, Belarus or Russia.
