Sunak called on allies to continue supplying Kyiv with weapons.

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, speaking at the annual convention of the Conservative Party, called on allies to continue supplying Ukraine with weapons.

“I say this to our allies: If we give President Zelensky the tools, the Ukrainians will finish the job,” he said during the speech.

Sunak noted Britain’s leadership in supplying Kyiv with tanks and long-range missiles, as well as training Ukrainian pilots.

Military assistance to Kyiv from London in 2022 amounted to 2.3 billion pounds sterling (2.6 billion euros), and it is expected that in 2023 it will be no less.
