Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi called the meeting with US President Joe Biden, who arrived at the G20 summit in New Delhi, very productive.

“Our meeting was very productive. We were able to discuss many topics that will contribute to the development of economic and human ties between India and the United States. The friendship between our countries will continue to play an important role in promoting global good,” Modi wrote on social network X (formerly Twitter ).


India has been chairing the G20 since December 1, 2022. The group’s summit will be held in New Delhi on September 9-10. The leaders of the G20 countries and nine other states – Bangladesh, Egypt, Spain, Mauritius, Nigeria, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Singapore are invited to it. The Russian delegation at the summit will be headed by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, the Chinese – by Premier Li Qiang.
