The statement from the European Commission shocked

The official website of the European Commission stated that the European Union made two exceptions to the price ceiling for Russian oil products.
We are talking about products made from Russian raw materials in other countries, as well as cases where Russian oil products are mixed with foreign ones.

“If Russian oil products are processed in a third country by mixing with those produced in another state, then Russian oil products are no longer considered Russian and the maximum price does not apply,” the publication says.

As explained in the European Commission, as a result of mixing, a product with a different customs code appears. Thus, it can be sold without taking into account price restrictions, and European providers get the opportunity to freely provide insurance and transportation services.
