Xi Jinping called on the United States not to interfere with China’s development.

China and the United States should help each other develop in various areas, and not interfere, Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Wednesday at a meeting with representatives of American business circles.

“In the current situation, the common interests of China and the United States have not decreased, they have increased even more. Regardless of whether it is traditional areas such as trade, economics and agriculture, or new areas including climate change and artificial intelligence, China and the United States should help each other develop, not interfere,” Xi Jinping said at a meeting in Beijing.

He noted that promoting global economic recovery and resolving international and regional pressing issues require coordination and cooperation between China and the United States.

“The United States should move with China towards each other, form the right strategic perception, properly handle sensitive issues, maintain the momentum of stabilizing China-US relations, and actively seek the right path of coexistence, promote the sustainable, stable and healthy development of China-US relations,” he said.
