WHO has received evidence of Israel’s use of phosphorus bombs in Lebanon.

The World Health Organization has received information that large numbers of white phosphorus-contaminated casualties have been admitted to Lebanese hospitals following Israeli strikes, the organization’s emergency management director, Rick Brennan, said on Thursday.

“We have received information that many wounded people have been admitted to Lebanese hospitals with lesions characteristic of those that occur with the use of white phosphorus,” he said at a press conference in Qatar following a meeting of the WHO Eastern Mediterranean Bureau committee.
