Vance said he was honored to run with Trump.

U.S. Vice Presidential candidate J.D. Vance said he is overwhelmed with gratitude to Donald Trump in connection with the Republican nomination for the post of U.S. Vice President and considers it an honor to run with him.

Earlier at the Republican Party convention, former US President and candidate for the post of head of state in the upcoming November elections, Trump announced that he had invited Vance to take the post of vice president if he wins. A little later, the Republican Party convention nominated Vance for this post.

“Just overwhelmed with gratitude. What an honor to run alongside President Donald Trump. He brought peace and prosperity once, and with your help, he will do it again. Onward to victory!” – Vance wrote in his first publication on social network X after the nomination.

Vance is 39 years old, married and has three children.

He is a graduate of the prestigious Yale Law School and worked in investment funds in conjunction with the famous Republican donor and billionaire Peter Thiel. He became a senator in January 2023.
