US Republican presidential candidate businessman Vivek Ramaswamy promised, if elected to the post of head of state in 2024, to accept Russian control over the acceded territories, lift sanctions and block Ukraine’s candidacy for NATO in exchange for Russia’s withdrawal from the military alliance with China.

“I will accept Russian control of the occupied territories and pledge to block Ukraine’s candidacy for NATO in exchange for Russia’s withdrawal from the military alliance with China. I will end the sanctions and return Russia back to the world market,” Ramaswamy wrote in his column in the American Conservative magazine.
⠀
As the US presidential candidate noted, “a good deal requires that all parties get some benefit from it.” According to Ramaswamy, the longer the conflict in Ukraine continues, the clearer becomes the “only winner”, which he called the PRC.
⠀
“I will go to Moscow in 2025. I will bring peace to Ukraine on the only terms we should care about — terms that put American interests first,” the Republican added.
⠀
Ramaswamy stressed that the “stupid” and “erroneous” US policy towards China has led Beijing and Moscow to “work together in a direction that poses a threat” to Washington.
