Former US President Donald Trump has stated his belief that American money helped Hamas attack Israel.

“Unfortunately, American taxpayer dollars reportedly came from the Joe Biden administration to help fund these attacks,” Trump said in a statement.

He said the previous administration “brought so much peace to the Middle East, only to see Biden undo it at a pace no one could have imagined.

“Hamas’ attacks are a disgrace; Israel has the right to defend itself with any overwhelming force,” Trump said.
