The US presidential candidate promised that Ukraine would not join NATO.

Vivek Ramaswamy, a contender for the Republican nomination in the US presidential election, on the social network X (formerly Twitter) promised, if he wins the fight for the post of American leader, to guarantee that Ukraine will not join NATO if Moscow fulfills a number of conditions.

“We will support the freezing of current control lines, re-open economic relations with Russia and pledge that NATO will not accept Ukraine in exchange for Russia withdrawing from military cooperation with China, moving nuclear weapons from Kaliningrad and curtailing military presence in the Western Hemisphere,” Ramaswamy wrote.

In mid-July, the politician was already calling on Washington to make a deal with Moscow to refuse to accept Ukraine into NATO in exchange for Russia’s commitment not to develop relations with China.

According to public opinion polls in July, only 3% of voters are ready to support Ramaswamy in the presidential elections – within the limits of statistical error.
