The Speaker of the House of Representatives does not consider Biden fit to be president.

Speaker of the Republican-controlled US House of Representatives Mike Johnson publicly said Thursday that he does not consider President Joe Biden fit to serve as head of state.

“I don’t think he’s qualified for this role at this time,” the congressman said.

At the same time, he expressed confidence that the hypothetical replacement of Biden with another presidential candidate from the US Democratic Party would be a violation of the country’s long-standing traditions and laws.

“I don’t know of a way that they (Democrats) can just wave a magic wand and make this all go away without at least breaking a great tradition and possibly breaking the laws in some states,” Johnson commented.

In his opinion, Democrats could face significant legal difficulties if they try to replace Biden with another candidate at the current stage.
