The Prime Minister of Georgia made a statement about war and peace.

The upcoming parliamentary elections in Georgia will become a kind of referendum on the issue of war and peace,  Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said.

“These elections are extremely principled <…>. This is a referendum between peace and war,” he said.

The politician noted that the Georgian people will also have to make a choice between propaganda and traditional values.

According to Kobakhidze, making a choice is quite simple if you are guided by the principles of morality for the sake of peace and a bright future.

In June, Kobakhidze said that members of ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili’s United National Movement party were striving to make the country follow Ukraine’s scenario. Earlier, he also noted that if this political force were in power, then Georgia would be involved in the current conflict, since “they want to open a “second front” against Russia.”
